Jolt is an anonymous social network structured around a single question and unified discussion per day. When writing a response, a 20-second countdown begins on the user's first keystroke, and pasting text into the composer is blocked to mandate direct typing. Submissions are published permanently and cannot be deleted or edited. The platform automatically polls for new posts every second to maintain a live, strictly chronological feed without requiring page refreshes. While community members can cast upvotes and downvotes, vote totals do not reorder the feed. Jolt operates entirely without collecting names, email addresses, phone numbers, locations, or IP address records.
