Vultrino is an open-source, self-hosted credential proxy built to help developers safely execute authenticated AI agent workflows. Instead of supplying raw secrets directly to LLMs like Claude or GPT, agents reference credential aliases while Vultrino manages sensitive operations server-side. It features a policy engine with role-based access control, URL pattern definitions, method restrictions, and rate limits. Vultrino encrypts stored credentials using AES-256-GCM with Argon2 key derivation and supports WebAssembly (WASM) plugins in sandboxed isolation to extend credential types.
