What it does
About Atuin
Atuin upgrades command-line workflows by enhancing shell history with encrypted synchronization, contextual search, and backup capabilities. Built in Rust for fast execution, it allows developers to search commands by text, exit code, duration, directory, and hostname across macOS, Linux, and Windows. Command history is encrypted client-side before syncing across machines or self-hosted sync servers. Additionally, Atuin offers integrated terminal AI assistance directly inside the prompt.
