Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Debutly at debutly.app, including accounts, product discovery, submissions, launch payments, and related messages. Debutly is intended for people aged 18 or older.

Information we collect

Account and support information

When you create or use an account, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, verification state, session information, IP address, and browser or device information. We also receive the information you include when contacting support.

Submissions and public content

We process the product details, links, descriptions, categories, tags, images, and other content you submit. Approved listing content is public. We may also prepare listings from public launch pages and official product websites, including Product Hunt information and publicly available contact details associated with a project.

Payments and messages

Stripe processes launch payments. Debutly receives transaction status, identifiers, plan information, and limited billing details needed to operate and support the purchase, but does not store complete payment card numbers. Resend processes transactional email delivery.

Analytics and consent

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics or Umami loads only after you explicitly allow analytics. Before consent, Debutly does not load those analytics scripts. You can reject analytics and continue using the site. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals default to no analytics unless you later make an explicit choice.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and troubleshoot Debutly.
• Authenticate accounts and prevent abuse.
• Review, publish, organize, and maintain product listings.
• Process purchases and send transactional messages.
• Respond to support, correction, and removal requests.
• Measure site use after consent and improve product discovery.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Automation and AI

Debutly may use Apify, browser automation, and AI service providers to collect public website evidence, extract product facts, suggest taxonomy, and check listing quality. Automated output is subject to additional checks and does not independently authorize publication. Do not submit confidential information for public listing.

When we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that operate Debutly, including Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Google or GitHub for authentication when selected, Google Analytics or Umami after consent, and Product Hunt, Apify, browser, or AI providers involved in listing preparation. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

International processing

Debutly and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. We use the safeguards offered by our providers and applicable law when information is transferred internationally.

Retention

Account, submission, payment-status, and support records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Login sessions generally expire after 30 days. Analytics choices expire after six months unless renewed. Public listings may remain available until removed or no longer needed. Backup and security records may persist for a limited additional period.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You can also request a correction or removal of a public product listing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through Analytics preferences.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, managed infrastructure, and other technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes and contact
