About Crew
Crew is a macOS desktop companion app designed to support developer sessions with Claude Code. Operating on local status files without transferring data off the computer, Crew renders small creatures along the bottom of the screen corresponding to active chats and subagents. Each session is deterministically mapped to one of ten distinct species via hashing, giving developers immediate visual feedback on real-time agent states—such as executing tools, processing, waiting for input, or finishing—across multiple parallel sessions without context switching.
