Daze in the Maze is a retro-style indie adventure game set within an endless stone labyrinth. Players explore deep levels while engaging in continuous combat, collecting gold, and seeing how deep they can survive. Controls rely on standard keyboard and mouse inputs: WASD keys move the character, mouse clicks or spacebar execute attacks, keys 1 through 5 drink potions, and key I toggles the inventory pack. Environmental interaction occurs directly through movement, as walking into items picks them up and walking into doors unlocks them. Throughout the maze's forgotten rooms, players encounter strange wandering merchants where they can buy new items and sell their collected wares.
