What it does
About Elvean
Elvean is a native macOS private AI workspace built with SwiftUI for Intel and Apple Silicon hardware running macOS 13 or later. It operates without requiring user accounts and lets users interface with both local AI models—through Ollama, LM Studio, and MLX—and cloud providers including Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, Cerebras, and DeepSeek. To execute code and terminal commands securely, Elvean assigns an isolated Linux container to each project. Within chat threads, it renders dynamic Chart.js charts and Mermaid diagrams directly inline, while also assisting with conversational workflows like checking weather forecasts, mapping routes, comparing Airbnb listings, and searching flight prices.
