GM Chess is an uninhibited web-based chess platform built to deliver a zero-lag environment for chess purists, blitz typers, and Grandmasters. Inspired by late 1990s web aesthetics, the platform strips away accounts, rating barriers, paywalls, and bloatware. Users can instantly enter anonymous multiplayer matches over WebSockets or play locally against an embedded WebAssembly Stockfish 10 engine while practicing move entry via FIDE algebraic typing notation.
