About Minutehand
Minutehand is a minimalist macOS menu-bar app designed to capture meeting audio and produce Markdown transcripts for external AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude Cowork. It captures microphone and system audio without deploying bots to calls, and syncs with Google Calendar to prompt users before upcoming meetings. Once a meeting ends, audio is transcribed using the user's Deepgram API key and saved directly to a chosen local folder. All recordings are kept locally on disk with automated deletion settings to protect user privacy.
