What it does
About Nimuvo
Nimuvo is a native macOS safety and security layer designed for AI coding agents. It provides local guardrails so developers can run tools like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor Agent, and Codex without granting them full access to sensitive Mac folders. Before execution, Nimuvo evaluates file and shell requests against custom folder policies and 30 destructive rules. Built with local privacy in mind, Nimuvo encrypts local history using AES-GCM with a 256-bit macOS Keychain key and sends zero bytes of activity telemetry off the device.
