About Rekey
Rekey is a self-hostable backend service designed for agent products, combining multi-tenant user authentication and provider-agnostic billing behind a single API. It functions as an OAuth 2.1 authorization server supplying discovery, dynamic registration, PKCE, and token introspection for MCP clients. By housing identity and billing within one tenant model, Rekey eliminates reconciliation drift between user sign-ins and subscription records while executing credit debits atomically.
