About Remarc
Remarc is an open-source contextual feedback layer designed for AI agents. Operating from the macOS menu bar alongside a Chrome extension, Remarc enables users to submit comments, screenshots, and voice critiques anchored to on-screen elements or web pages. Using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it conveys relevant context—such as web URLs and selected text—to AI agents including Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Remarc operates locally, storing data in a local file on the Mac and processing voice transcriptions on-device without relying on cloud backends, user accounts, or telemetry.
