Rosso
Rosso is a circuit simulator designed for guitar effects pedal builders to lay out components, wire circuits, and preview audio output.
What it does
About Rosso
Rosso is a dedicated desktop circuit simulator created for designing custom guitar effects pedals. It enables builders to lay out components like resistors and transistors, wire them into circuits, and calculate the resulting audio output. Powered by the Lotus Engine—a circuit solver written in Rust that utilizes modified nodal equations and Newton's method—Rosso captures real part parameters such as hFE, junction capacitance, and vacuum tube coefficients. This lets pedal builders hear the auditory effects of component adjustments prior to soldering physical hardware.
