Using Android Accessibility permissions to recognize when selected apps enter the foreground, it inserts Intention Gates—short pauses featuring purpose questions—and daily budgets in front of potentially distracting apps. Sanctuary Launcher maintains user privacy by computing and storing all usage patterns, intentions, and limits locally on the device without relying on cloud servers or analytics SDKs.
