Selcouth is a literary word game based on passages from classic authors such as Dickens, Dostoevsky, and Cather. Players complete excerpts by restoring missing words, earning higher rewards for rare terms. The application comes with a free library of 30 classic books containing 9,195 passages, as well as a commonplace book feature to store words and revisit them in context across the user's collection. Designed for offline play without user accounts, tracking, ads, or daily streaks, Selcouth syncs saved commonplace entries via iCloud and offers optional themed book packs as one-time purchases.
