whocodedmore provides software developers with a shared metric for their coding activity and AI token usage across more than 20 AI platforms, including Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and Codex. Executed locally using a single Node package runner command, the tool calculates lines of code and token consumption and converts those figures into estimated water consumption metrics, such as liters and glasses of water. To ensure user privacy, only total metric tallies are transmitted off the local machine, keeping source code, file paths, and file names local. Developers can sync their token data to compare their activity and compete on a public worldwide leaderboard.
