What it does
About XID
XID is an open-source identity platform constructed on Cloudflare Workers using three dedicated Workers. It brings together hosted sign-in, user authentication, enterprise federation, and organization modeling into a single tenant structure. Core authentication features encompass passwords, passkeys, MFA, session management, consent workflows, and account self-service. For enterprise deployments, XID handles inbound SAML and OIDC, downstream SaaS SSO, SCIM provisioning, directory sync, and domain discovery under explicit policies. Teams can adopt the entire platform or integrate specific protocol, UI, and SDK components, self-hosting the software without licensing checks or feature tiering.
